1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Fastag Management System ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

The Fastag Management System is a web application designed to manage FASTag operations, including vehicle tracking, user management, RFID reader management, access control, hardware device control (GPIO, relays, traffic lights), backup services, and related functionalities. The Service may integrate with third-party services to provide vehicle information, challan data, and other enhanced features.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Data Backup Services

When you use our Google Drive backup integration:

• You authorize the Service to access your Google Drive for the purpose of backing up database files
• You are responsible for the security and management of your Google Drive account
• We store OAuth credentials securely on the server
• You can revoke access at any time through Google Account settings or within the application

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. OAuth Authentication

When you authenticate with Google:

• We request only the minimum permissions necessary (Google Drive access for backups)
• Your Google credentials are never stored by our application
• OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely
• You maintain full control over granted permissions

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or malicious code

8. Service Availability and Dependencies

While we strive to maintain 24/7 availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service depends on:

• Third-Party APIs: Some features require access to external vehicle information and compliance services. These services may experience downtime, rate limiting, or changes to their APIs that affect our Service functionality.
• Hardware Connectivity: RFID reader operations, GPIO control, and hardware device management depend on network connectivity and hardware availability.
• Maintenance: We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party service unavailability or hardware failures beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Data Backup Responsibility

While we provide backup tools, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your data. We are not liable for any data loss.

11. Hardware Control and Liability

When using hardware control features (GPIO pins, relays, traffic lights, barriers):

• You are responsible for proper hardware configuration and safety compliance
• You acknowledge that hardware control operations are performed at your own risk
• We are not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from hardware operations
• You must ensure compliance with local regulations regarding automated access control systems
• Hardware operations are logged for audit purposes but we do not guarantee real-time monitoring or intervention

12. Third-Party API Usage and Rate Limiting

The Service uses third-party APIs to fetch vehicle information and compliance data:

• API calls are subject to rate limiting to prevent abuse and ensure fair usage
• Daily limits may apply to certain API features
• We cache API responses locally to reduce external calls and improve performance
• Third-party API availability, accuracy, and response times are beyond our control
• We reserve the right to modify rate limits or disable features if third-party services become unavailable or change their terms

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws.
